Every piece from Volakai is handcrafted with care and built to last. We stand behind our workmanship — not the circumstances surrounding a gift, proposal, or relationship.
If your piece has a manufacturing defect (a loose stone, a workmanship flaw, a clasp or setting issue) within 30/60/90 days of delivery, we will repair or remake it at no cost to you. This guarantee covers our craftsmanship — it does not cover normal wear, damage from accidents, or alterations made by another jeweler.
All Volakai pieces are made to order using fine materials — gold, diamonds, and precious gemstones. Because of this, all sales are final.
We are unable to accept returns or issue refunds for reasons including, but not limited to:
• Change of mind or personal preference
• A proposal or gift not being received as hoped
• Changes in a relationship or personal circumstances
• Sizing assumptions made without confirming with us first
We know this can feel disappointing in the moment, but as a small business working in fine materials, we simply cannot absorb the cost of a completed piece that cannot be resold, restocked, or repurposed. We ask that you consider this fully before placing your order.
For custom and made-to-order pieces, a deposit is required to begin work (see Part 2 for full details on the Design Booking Fee and Manufacturing Deposit). Once materials are purchased and fabrication begins, deposits are non-refundable, as they cover the cost of materials and labor already committed to your piece.
We're happy to discuss design changes before production begins — please reach out as early as possible if you have questions or want to adjust your order.
Rings and other sized pieces come with one complimentary resize within X days of delivery, provided the piece has not been altered, worn excessively, or damaged. This is the best way to make sure your piece fits — please don't hesitate to use it.
Note: extremely small or large size adjustments, or resizes on eternity bands/pieces with stones set around the entire band, may require a separate quote due to the complexity involved.
All orders are shipped fully insured with signature confirmation required. If your package arrives damaged:
1. Do not discard the packaging or materials.
2. Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the item and packaging.
3. We will file a claim with the carrier and make it right — repair, remake, or replace, depending on the damage.
Damage claims made after this window, or without original packaging, may not be eligible for insurance coverage.

Choose your gemstone from our curated selection, then bring your vision to life using our interactive 3D designer — adjust settings, materials, and details until your piece looks exactly right. Once you're happy with the design, simply check out. Your piece then goes into our production queue, where our team of master jewelers — with decades of hands-on experience in gemstone cutting, casting, and fabrication — hand-craft it from your exact specifications. No middlemen, no guesswork: the same experts who reviewed your design are the ones building it. When it's complete, we ship your finished piece directly to you, ready to wear.
